An enchanted valley
A step from the sea, immersed in greenery
We are in Monteciccardo, in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, immersed in the green heart of our Marche region and at the foot of an ancient 16th-century convent from which our name is born. A place that carries with it centuries of history, of monastic life, of respect for the land and its fruits.
Here lies our enchanted valley, a stone’s throw from the Adriatic Sea, surrounded by green hills and unspoilt nature. An extraordinary ecosystem — between 300 and 350 metres above sea level — that allows our vineyards and olive groves to grow and thrive following the rhythms of nature, guided solely by organic farming.

The man who chose the land
At a certain point in his life, Egidio decided to bind himself indissolubly to the land. With his family, he founded Il Conventino di Monteciccardo — a place that holds his nature and his roots, but above all preserves the history and traditions that belong to everyone.
He cultivates the land with respect and makes wine in the name of sharing. Wine that brings people together and lifts spirits, that is a direct link between man and Mother Nature, that feeds the desire for life.

A family story
Il Conventino, with new eyes.
Today it is Francesca who carries Il Conventino forward, with the same deep-rootedness in the land that saw her grow up and the curiosity of someone who looks far ahead. Egidio’s daughter, she has made the company’s philosophy her own — respect for natural rhythms, care for organic farming, the choice never to compromise on quality — and has carried it into the present.
Under her guidance, Il Conventino continues to grow, to experiment, to tell its story. The same valley as ever, the same olive trees and the same vineyards. But a fresh outlook on how to bring it all to the world.
WINERY
From the hills of the Marche, organic by vocation
In this splendid valley, between 300 and 350 metres above the nearby Adriatic Sea, our vineyards complete their life cycle before the meticulous harvesting and selection of the grapes, strictly by hand. A large family of grape varieties, mainly native, grown with love and painstaking attention to the winemaking process.
The deep balsamic notes found in all our wines are the signature of our valley.

The origin of Il Conventino, drop by drop
Among the olive trees of our grove lies the history and origins of Conventino Monteciccardo. A story of study and experimentation that has led us to create cutting-edge machinery, unique of its kind, with the sole purpose of preserving the quality of our olives and enhancing it in our oils.
Today we are proud of an award-winning family of oils, featuring native organic single-variety oils: Raggiola, Ascolana Tenera, and Rosciola.
